Rail and Highway
Jamestown is served by the
Burlington
Northern Santa Fe Railroad which does not provide passenger service
but does provide freight service. A rail spur is currently being
installed at the Industrial Park east of the city.
Amtrak does run
through the state and travels east and west across the state starting a
Fargo and angling north to Devils Lake, Minot and Williston.
Jamestown is the
intersecting point of Highways Interstate 49 and U.S. Highway 281.
Interstate 94 runs east and west across the state and Highway 281 runs
north and south, starting at the Canadian border and continues south to
Brownsville, Texas.
Buses and Taxis
Jamestown is served by three taxi companies, Jamestown Taxi Service,
Buffalo City Cab and A-1 Taxi. Most schools have their own busing for
student transportation.

James River Transit
provides rides for people of all ages. Four buses serve the City of
Jamestown. Phone 252-7888 for rides.

Sundays 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Airlines
Jamestown is served by
Northwest Airlines and
features two round-trip flights to Minneapolis daily, Monday thru
Friday, with one round-trip flight on Saturday and one on Sunday,
connecting anywhere in the world!
