Alfred Dickey Public Library
Alfred Dickey Public Library is located downtown at 105 - 3rd St. S.E. The library was established in 1917 in its present building and location and is a historic building. The Library Board consists of five members from the community who oversee its operation.

Its inventory consists of over 45,000 volumes for adults and children. Services include Parent/Teacher Materials, Periodicals/Newspapers, Cassettes/Videos, Photo Copier, Children's Programs, Interlibrary Loan, Microfilm Reader/Printer, Reference Service, Microfiche Reader, Electric Typewriter, Large Print Books and a Book Drop for your convenience.

The children's Library features a DIAL-A-STORY (252-7464) and a Summer Reading Program beginning in June through August.

Daphne Drewello is the librarian and Brenda Kohn is the children's librarian.

HOURS: Monday thru Thursday, 10 a.m. - 8:30 p.m Friday and Saturday
10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Sunday, 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. (except June-August)
